Taiwantrade.com will take part in Fashion World Tokyo 2020, Japan’s largest fashion trade show consists of fashion wear, bags, shoes, textile, jewelry, and fashion sourcing. The show will take place in Tokyo Big Sight from October 27th to 29th. The Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT) has assigned Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), which operates Taiwan’s most prominent B2B portal – Taiwantrade.com, to invite 21 excellent Taiwan brands to participate.
Fashion World Tokyo is the biggest trade show for the fashion industry in Japan. Given the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the exhibition still expects to see more than 600 exhibitors and over 30,000 visitors to attend. Taiwantrade.com will showcase cutting edge, high-quality textile and eyewear products such as deodorizing collagen pantyhose, cut resistant backpacks, 3D printed socks, and sunglasses…etc. Nam Liong Enterprise will introduce its “cut resistant backpack” with various anti-theft designs, such as hidden zippers and pockets, plastic panels, and EVA paddings. Shang Jung International Co’s deodorizing collagen pantyhose features with its eco-friendliness, 24-hour well-moisturizing, and 98% deodorization performance.
As the hosiery industry has been evolving continuously, Taiwanese manufacturers are also using 3D high tech printing to break through some of the limitations of hosiery design, allowing them to create more colorful and customized designs. By applying the latest seamless image printing technology, Paultex Hosiery Ltd. presents “3D printed socks” with high-definition color image design directly to the sock fabric around a 360-degree axis.
Eyewear products can also be found during the show at Taiwantrade.com’s booth this year. Millson Eyewear provides a wide range of premium sunglasses for both adults and kids. Further product information can be found at Booth No.: F3-38, West Hall 2.
Due to the pandemic outbreak, Taiwantrade.com built a “Hosiery & Optical Virtual Pavilion” in March, providing international buyers a seamless and borderless online experience. The pavilion features 60 of Taiwan’s latest hosiery, footwear, and eyewear fashion items. Visitors can browse online catalogs, interact with 360-degree product images, submit inquiries and even place an order directly to the suppliers. On the other hand, in response to the travelling restrictions of COVID-19, Fashion World Tokyo also sets up a virtual exhibition system enabling international buyers to take part online without flying over to Japan. The virtual system allows visitors to participate online business matching meetings and product browsing during the trade show. However, pre-sign up is required for visiting the virtual booth.
