The representatives of Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) visited Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU) and met CICU Delegation.
It comprised of Jason Lin Manager and Vijay Arora Project Manager, TAITRA who visited Ludhiana to explore the requirement of new technology in industry, said the press release.
They visited CICU to get latest updates on Machinery and visited some of the prominent industry of Ludhiana i.e. M/s Jaewoo Machines Pvt. Ltd., M/s Rattan Hammers and others.
Upkar Singh Ahuja, President and Pankaj Sharma, General Secretary, CICU highlighted that due to Covid-19, mostly the exhibitions are organized through video conferences, whereas the industry are not able to get actual reality of the products.
Owing to the situation, it is likely that CICU will start participating in International Exhibitions through groups.
Lin said that, the economy of Taiwan is not disturbed in past Covid-19 situation as they have been able to control Covid very effectively, but now new variant of Corona (Omicron) has become a matter of concern. Due to this the Taiwan is going to organize the online Exhibition TIMTOS x TMTS-2022, which will be held from 21st to 26th February, 2022.
He also requested the CICU to register its members, if the members want to purchase Machines from Taiwan, TAITRA will help to find suitable suppliers.
In this meeting S.B Singh, Joint Secretary, Honey Sethi, Organizing Secretary, Didarjit Singh, VP, Sh. Gautam Malhotra, VP were also present.
