ADI Optics recently received a gold award at the AMPA Innovation Awards 2018 for the company's patented lenticular LED headlight module.
As an enterprise member of the Business Incubator Center at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST), ADI Optics developed the world's first single-module bi-beam LED headlight. The product meets the EU, US and China beam pattern standards for low beam LED, high beam LED, and combined low/high beam LED modules.
According to ADI, the lenticular LED headlight module draws only 10 watts of power and features ADI Optics' multinational patented design.
Unlike the industry's conventional reflective design, ADI Optics' patented design uses an optical lens focusing and control system to achieve a wider light field while also preventing glare.
LED modules require only 20 percent of the power consumption of halogen lights to function. Compared to halogen lights, LED modules not only enable superior power efficiency, they also have an incredible 20,000-hour lifespan, much longer than the 500-hour lifespan of halogen lights.
According to ADI Optics, the company offers a large selection of LED headlamps in the H4 format, which makes them the ideal direct replacements for traditional H4 halogen modules.
